Y’know, it’s still legal to discriminate against gay men and lesbians in more than half the states in the U.S. Sure, same-sex marriage is legal in the U.S., but state laws still allow employers to fire lesbian workers. State laws make it OK for landlords to evict gay tenants. Discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation happens every day. Gay men and lesbians in most of the world have no legal recourse.

Why has the influential gay rights movement failed to secure the most basic job-and-housing protections for gay men and lesbians? Because the gay rights movement has been derailed by trans ideology. Gay men and lesbians are waking up to the realization that their own liberation movement has been hijacked and is now actively working against gay and lesbian interests.

  1. The recent defeat of the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance is a perfect example of how the T undermines the interests of the L and the G. The ordinance went to a referendum vote and was defeated. Local conservatives, Christian groups, and Quanell X from the New Black Panther Party bought an ad blitz and staged a get out the vote effort to defeat it, and all the ads focused on the bathroom and locker room issue.

    National press depicted us like a bunch of yokels. Hell no, did you notice our very popular outgoing mayor we elected to the maximum three terms is a lesbian?
